The proceeding is filed for giving direction to the respondents to take decision expeditiously on proposal sent to the Government for premature release of the petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that

913- Cri.W.P. No. 1708-2019.odt the petitioner expects the category for which the imprisonment for the period of 24 years is provided and he has also completed that period. He submits that the proposal has been pending with the Government since January 2019. In view of this circumstances, this court expects from respondent-State to take decision in the matter within six weeks from today. With this direction, the proceeding is disposed of.
