Petitioner is aggrieved by the order passed by the Debt Recovery Appellate Tribunal (DRAT) dated 6.10.2016, whereby, it has been directed to deposit 50% of the amount due and payable to the bank. The petitioner has made request that, he may be permitted to deposit 25% of the amount. This aspect was considered but not granted. DRAT has given reasons as to why 50% of the amount is liable to be deposited and not 25%. In the meanwhile, it appears that, for non-payment of two installments, appeal has also been dismissed. We are not inclined to interfere with the order passed by the DRAT. Petition is, therefore, dismissed.
