Mr. Karlekar, learned AGP, on instructions of respondent No.2 submitted that, due to change in composition of the Committee, caste claim of the petitioner could not be decided within stipulated period. He on instructions further submitted that, if the petitioner appears before the Caste Scrutiny Committee on stipulated date, the Committee will make endeavour to dispose of his application within a period of 30 days from the date of his appearance.

The said statement of AGP on behalf of respondent No.2 is accepted as an undertaking given to this Court. 2.

In view thereof, the petitioner is directed to appear before the Committee on 14th January, 2022 at 11.30 a.m. without excuse. 3.
