After arguing the matter at length, when this Court was not inclined to grant relief to applicant No.1, learned advocate for applicants, on instructions, seeks permission to withdraw application to the extent of applicant No.1. Application of applicant No.1 Amol Ashok Salve is hereby dismissed as withdrawn. Interim protection granted to applicant No.1 stands vacated. 2.

Applicant No.2 in the present application apprehends arrest in Crime No.0319/2022, registered with Shivaji Nagar Police Station, Beed, for offences punishable under Sections 420, 465, 468, 471 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code. 3.

Heard learned advocate for applicants and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondents - State. Perused the investigation papers.

Except vague and general allegation that applicant No.2, who is wife of applicant No.1, was present along with applicant No.1, there is no active role attributed to applicant No.2 in the present crime. There is no material showing involvement of applicant No.2 in the alleged offence. In the light of that, applicant No.2 deserves protection.

Application of applicant No.2 Shraddha Amol Salve is, therefore, allowed in terms of interim order dated 01/12/2022. Till filing of charge-sheet, applicant No.2 shall attend concerned police station as and when called by Investigating Officer. The applicants shall not tamper the prosecution evidence.
