Present Petition has been filed by the petitioners for directing the respondent to mutate their names as per their application dated 17th July 2025 which was acknowledged by the office of the Sub Divisional Officer, Parbhani on 4th August 2025. 2.

The grievance of the petitioners is that though the application is submitted in the month of August 2025, till date the said application has not been decided and it is kept pending in the office of the Sub Divisional Officer, Parbhani.

The learned AGP appearing for the State, on instructions, makes a statement that the said application will be decided within a period of six weeks.

We take the said statement as an undertaking and dispose of the Writ Petition by directing the respondent - the Sub Divisional Officer, Parbhani to decide the said application within a period of SIX WEEKS from today.
