The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that though he has preferred several second appeals under the Right to Information Act, 2005, the respondent No.2 has not been deciding it expeditiously.

The learned AGP has taken instructions and makes a statement that the second appeals as mentioned in prayer clause (c) of para 14, would be decided within eight weeks.

We record the statement as undertaking to the Court and dispose of the writ petition by directing the respondent No.2 to decide the second appeals expeditiously and in any case within eight weeks from today.
