The petitioner is challenging the order of invalidation. 2.

The impugned order was a common order in respect of the petitioner and his sister of Aboli. In Writ Petition No.9129/2020 she had challenged the order and on 04.09.2023 for the reasons recorded therein we had allowed the writ petition and had directed certificate of validity to be issued to her subject to certain conditions. 1/2

The writ petition is partly allowed.

The impugned judgment and order dated 20.11.2020, passed by the Scrutiny Committee, is quashed and set aside. 5.

The Committee shall immediately issue tribe validity certificate to the petitioner as belonging to 'Koli Mahadev' scheduled tribe, which shall be subject to the decision to be taken by the Committee in the matters which it intends to reopen in respect of the validity holders.

6.

The certificate of validity shall be issued in the prescribed format without incorporating other conditions/additions. 7.
