By this writ petition the petitioner is seeking direction that his caste claim which is pending since 03.01.2025 be decided expeditiously. During the pendency of the said caste claim, the employer of the petitioner has issued show cause notice on 08.10.2025 calling upon the petitioner to submit the caste validity certificate, failing which, the service of the petitioner would be terminated. 3.

Considering the above facts and circumstances, we direct the respondent No.4 - Caste Scrutiny Committee to decide the caste claim of the petitioner within a period of nine (9) months from today. Till the Caste Scrutiny Committee decides the caste claim of the petitioner, the

We make it clear that, the protection granted by us will operate only till the decision of the caste claim of the petitioner. With this direction the writ petition is disposed of. (ABASAHEB D.
