This petition can be disposed of by directing respondent no. 2 District Caste Certificate Scrutiny Committee to accept the proposal for verification of caste certificate of petitioner directly and proceed to scrutinize the same and pass appropriate order and, it is accordingly directed.

If the petitioner tenders proposal within a period of four weeks from today, the Committee shall, in observance of the procedure prescribed, take appropriate decision in respect of validation of the caste certificate, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of the proposal.
