The petitioner was alleging about occurrence of an incident of riot and inaction of the police machinery to carry out prompt investigation. The petition was filed way back in the month of November 2022 but was circulated for the first time before us on 20.03.2023. According to learned APP, the investigation was already over and even charge sheet was filed on 20.02.2023. 2.

Considering the prayers being made by the petitioner, who has been seeking investigation into the crime, filing of final report serves the purpose.
