CORAM : V. K. JADHAV AND SANDIPKUMAR. C. MORE, JJ.

DATED : 25th FEBRUARY, 2022 PER COURT:- 1.

We have heard learned counsel for the applicant for some time.

2.

We have expressed our disinclination to entertain this application for the sole reason that the crime is of the year 2016 and the charge sheet also came to be submitted in the year 2016 itself. Learned counsel has pointed out to us that the applicant is selected for the post of police constable with Nagpur Police, however, because of pendency of this case, he is not getting the appointment order. Learned counsel for the applicant, on instructions, seeks leave to withdraw this application. Learned counsel, however, submits that the trial court may be directed to decide the case which is of the year 2016, as expeditiously as possible.
