PER COURT :- Mr. Mane, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that an advertisement was issued inviting applications for transfer of hostels. The petitioner had already filed application in 2010. Respondents are required to give priority to the petitioner, considering that the petitioner had filed application in the year 2010 and same is pending since then. This Court may direct the respondents to consider the said application on preferential basis.

We do not find any policy or such scheme to consider the application as per the seniority of date, the application is filed. In absence of the same, it would not be possible to give any such direction. If the petitioner has given application pursuant to the advertisement, the same would be considered along with other applications, on its own merit.
