The learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have filed an application under section 28A of the Land Acquisition Act in the year 2014. The same is not yet decided. The learned Assistant Government Pleader accepts notice for respondent Nos. 1, 2 and 3.

In case the application filed by the petitioners under section 28A of the Land Acquisition Act is pending with respondent

2 977-WP-13059-2019 No. 3, then respondent No. 3 shall decide the same on its own merits in accordance with law after hearing all parties concerned preferably within a period of nine months.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
