Learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner submits that though the Petitioner has

filed application with Respondent - District Collector, Aurangabad on 7th October, 2015 and thereafter representation dated 4th October, 2018, under Section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act, the Collector has not decided the same.

We direct Respondent No.1 - the Collector, Aurangabad to decide the said applications/ representations, if already not decided, in accordance with law and after adhering to the procedure, as expeditiously as possible, however within THREE MONTHS from today and communicate the decision to the Petitioner.

Needless to mention that, in case procedure prescribes for giving hearing to the Petitioner, Respondent No.1 shall call the Petitioner for hearing and give opportunity of hearing and filing the documents.

With the above directions, Writ Petition stands disposed of.

We make it clear that we have not entered into the merits of the contentions raised in the Petition or in the said applications/ representations. It is for the Respondent authority to take appropriate decision.
