However, by virtue of the subsequent events, he presses for addition of those applicant nos.1 to 3 as party applicants to the original Criminal Application. Considering the same and for the reasons stated in the application, the application is allowed.

DECEMBER 01, 2025 ORDER :- By this Criminal Application, the applicants are seeking quashment of the First Information Report bearing C.R. No.333 of 2024, registered with Kotwali Police Station, Ahmednagar, for the offences punishable under Sections 323, 498-A and 504 read with Section 34 of Indian Penal Code as well as charge sheet pursuant to the same bearing No.241 of 2024 and also the consequent order dated 13.09.2024 of taking cognizance as of the said offences. 2.
Learned counsel for the applicants as well as learned counsel for respondent no.2 - Informant have submitted that the applicants and respondent no.2 - informant have already settled the
2-sr179 dispute among themselves amicably and even they have obtained the decree of divorce by mutual consent. Respondent no.2 has also filed an affidavit, stating that the informant has no objection for allowing the Criminal Application as the matter is settled amicably. 3.
We have heard learned counsel for the applicants; learned APP for respondent no.1 - State; and learned counsel for respondent no.2 - informant.

Since the applicants and respondent no.2 - informant have arrived at a compromise and settled the matter, we pass the following order:-
ORDER
(i) The application is allowed;
(ii) The First Information Report bearing C.R. No.333 of 2024, registered with Kotwali Police Station, Ahmednagar, for the offences punishable under Sections 323, 498-A and 504 read with Section 34 of Indian Penal Code; the charge sheet pursuant to the same bearing No.241 of 2024; and the consequent order dated 13.09.2024 of taking cognizance are hereby set aside.
