The learned Counsel submits that the petitioner's caste certificate is confiscated and cancelled only on the ground that the spelling of Mahadev is wrongly spelled in the caste certificate. 2.

In that case, the petitioner shall apply to the Committee for issuance of attested tribe certificate. Upon obtaining the attested tribe certificate from the Scrutiny Committee, the petitioner shall apply to the Sub Divisional Officer for getting the corrected tribe certificate. The Sub Divisional Officer shall after verifying the attested tribe certificate and confirming that the same is issued by his office, shall issue the corrected tribe certificate to the petitioner preferably

2 952-WP-13000-2019 within six weeks from the date, attested tribe certificate is presented to the Sub Divisional Officer.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
