1] In our view, the petition is filed against an order passed by the Debt Recovery Tribunal granting permission to the respondent to travel abroad. Appeal against this order is pending before the Debt Recovery Appellate Tribunal. Against the interim order passed by the DRT, present petition has been filed. In our view, since this
WP 11061/16 - 2 - petition is filed against the interim order, we direct the DRAT to decide the appeal expeditiously within two weeks on merits and in accordance with law. Interim order passed by the DRT shall continue till the disposal of the appeal. All contentions raised by the petitioner and respondent are kept open.
2] This petition also can be disposed of reserving the right of the petitioner to apply for revival of the petitioner in the event any adverse order is passed against the petitioner. The petition is disposed of. In view of disposal of petition, pending civil application does not survive and is disposed of as such.
