By this writ petition, the petitioner seeks to challenge interim order dated 14.10.2025, passed by the Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal (MAT) in Original Application No.1091/2025, refusing to stall the recovery of an amount said to have been paid in excess to the petitioner as family pension. The original application is stated to be pending for decision.

The learned AGP informs that the said application is likely to be disposed of within a couple of weeks. If we make any observation on merits of the matter or kept the same pending, it may delay or even influence the Tribunal seized of the original application. In the fitness of

2 913.WP.12926.25.odt thing, therefore, in spite of the strong objection by learned AGP, the order impugned herein is set aside with a direction to the respondent - State authorities not to recover the amount until decision of the Original Application No.1091 /2025.

Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of.
