This petition challenges the order passed by the Returning Officer of rejecting the objection raised by the petitioner to the nomination of respondent Nos.5 to 7. The elections are in respect of respondent No.4 /Co-operative Society.

The learned advocate representing respondent Nos.2 & 3 by relying on the decision of this Court in Writ Petition No.12006/2021 and connected matters submits that this Court has already taken a view that there is an alternate efficacious remedy available to the petitioner under the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960.

In view of the above decision, writ petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to file an election petition and or such other petition as is permissible in law.
