ORDER :

The application is filed for bail. Both the sides are heard. This Court has perused the papers of investigation. 2.

The crime is registered on the basis of report given by one Police Officer. When the police of Shrirampur City Police Station were doing patrolling duty, they came across two motorcycles on which there were six persons. They tried to intercept the motorcycles, but the riders resisted. Four persons could be arrested during action and present two applicants were amongst them. Cri. Appln. No.6865/14 weapons like one chopper and hockey stick came to be recovered. On the basis of report, the crime came to be registered for offence punishable under section 399, 34 etc. of I.P.C. and section 4 r/w. 25 of Arms Act.

The submissions made show that the applicants are behind bars since 5.9.2014. There are no bad antecedents against the applicants. In view of the nature of material collected against the applicants and other circumstances, this Court holds that it is not desirable to keep the applicants behind bars till the disposal of the case.

So, the application is allowed. The applicants are to be released on bail on their furnishing PR and SB of Rs. 15,000/- (Rupees fifteen thousand) by each of them. They are not to tamper with the prosecution witnesses. They are not to commit similar offence.
