The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the application of the petitioner for appointment on compassionate ground is forwarded by the Municipal Council to the Collector on 30.05.2017. The Collector has not yet taken decision upon it.

In case, the proposal (page no. 10) is pending with the Collector, then Collector shall take decision upon it, on its own merits, in accordance with law, expeditiously and preferably within a period of six (06) months from today.

Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
