The petitioners are seeking execution of revenue recovery certificate issued under Section 98 of the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960 dated 04/01/2022.

Considering the proviso to that provision, the respondent nos.2 and 3 will have to submit an application to the Collector so that recovery can be made as arrears of land revenue. 3.

We dispose of writ petition by directing respondent nos.2 and 3 to make appropriate application to the Collector immediately and in any case within three weeks.
