The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that all the petitioners are working in Naxalite and difficult areas. They are entitled for one step increment. The proposal is also forwarded by the Association to the Assistant Commissioner Social Welfare, Nanded (page no. 42). However, the same is not yet considered.

The respondents shall consider the case of each of the petitioners and satisfy themselves about the petitioners having worked in Tribal / Naxalite area so also guidelines laid down in the Government Resolution dated 06.08.2002. The same shall be considered within a period of six (06) months from today on its own merits. However, upon consideration of the same, if the petitioners are eligible for one step increment, the same benefit shall be

Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
