THE GENERAL MANAGER STATE BANK OF INDIA AND ORS ...

Advocate for Petitioner : Mr. Deshmukh Rajendra S. AGP for Respondent/State : Mr. S.K. Kadam Advocate for Respondent no.2 : Mr. L.D. Vakil ...

CORAM : S.S. SHINDE & A.M. BADAR, JJ.

Dated: September 03, 2015 ...

PER COURT :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned counsel appearing for respondent no.2 and the learned A.G.P. 2.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner's services are terminated/put to an end without issuing any prior notice of three months as per clause 29.2 of the Service Rules for Customer Relationship Executives (Personal Banking) 2007. Therefore, he submits that, such removal of the petitioner from the service was impermissible.

3.

Upon perusal of the documents placed on record, it appears that, the petitioner was appointed on contractual basis w.e.f. 20th August, 2007 to 19th August, 2009. Admittedly, upon expiry of the said period, the petitioner was discharged from service. The petitioner has no legal right to assert.

4.

In that view of the matter, in our opinion, no case is made out. Writ Petition sans merits, hence rejected. ( A.M. BADAR, J. ) ( S.S. SHINDE, J. ) sga/-
