Learned Government, Pleader appearing for Respondent-State, informs that the amount, as directed by this Court in Writ Petitions No.2613/2014 and 3925/2014, has been deposited with the Reference Court in execution proceedings. There is substantial compliance of the directions issued by this Court. As such, cognizance of the Contempt Petition need not be taken and Contempt Petition needs to be disposed of. Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner informs that the direction in respect of making of payment has not been complied with so far as Land Acquisition Reference No.47/2002 is concerned.
{2} cp55914.odt Learned Counsel appearing for the acquiring body informs that the amount would be deposited, as expeditiously as possible, preferably by the end of May-2015.
If at all there is any deficiency in the amount deposited by the State or the acquiring body, it would be open for the contempt petitioner to tender appropriate application to the executing court and make a request for issuance of suitable directions.
