The applicant has been convicted for the offence punishable under Section 8 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 and under Sections 363 and 354-A(2) of the Indian Penal Code and sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for three years and to pay fine of Rs.1,000/-, in default to suffer simple imprisonment for fifteen days. 3.

The amount of fine has been deposited. The Trial Court has already suspended the substantive sentence of imprisonment. It will take time for the appeal to come up for hearing.

In the fitness of things, the execution of substantive sentence of imprisonment to stand suspended pending the appeal. The applicant be released on his executing P.R. bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand) with surety in the like amount. 5.
