The petitioners make dual request. The petitioner seeks directions to grant admission in the Medical course on the basis of allotment of seats as per the merit in NET-UG-2017 examination and also seeks directions against respondent No.2 Committee to decide their validation proceedings expeditiously.

Learned AGP accepts notice for respondent Nos. 1 to 3.

We have heard Mr.Golegaonkar, Advocate for the petitioner and learned AGP.

The directions with regard to grant of admissions cannot be considered as the admissions are already closed and petitioners' admissions stand cancelled.

Considering the fact that the names of the petitioners appeared in the merit list for various courses under the Medical faculty and that now they can again exert for admission in Medical course for the next year. We direct the Committee to decide the validation proceedings of the petitioner expeditiously and under any circumstances by end of March-2018. The petitioners shall co-operate in expeditious disposal of the proceedings. The petitioners shall appear before the Committee on 07.12.2017.

The writ petitions accordingly stand disposed of. No costs.
