Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that in spite of the petitioner having obtained order to have the information under the Right to Information Act, the respondents are not providing him the information.

In the affidavit-in-reply filed by the respondent Nos. 3 and 4 i.e. the Chief Executive Officer of the Zilla Parishad and the Block Development Officer, it has been mentioned that the

(( 2 )) 44-wp-8007-2019 petitioner was expected to go through the record. Since it is bulky, he was to mark the information which he was soliciting and it was thereafter that information was to be furnished to him by charging necessary fees. It is also pointed out by the learned advocate for the respondent Nos. 3 and 4 that in spite of issuance of notice, the petitioner did not turn up. The record is available in the office of the respondent No.4 and the petitioner may visit the office on a stipulated date and time and mark the documents/information which he intends to have and that would be provided to him on payment of necessary charges as per the rules.

We dispose of the writ petition by directing the petitioner to remain present in the office of respondent No.4 on 07.01.2023 between 11.00 a.m. and 2.00 p.m. and mark the documents from the record, prepare its list and hand it over to the respondent No.4 who shall thereafter ascertain the charges which shall be paid by the petitioner and on such payment being made, the information shall be furnished by the respondent No.4.
