The petitioners claim to have been issued with District Awardee Teachers certificates in the year 2005 and 2010. The petitioners claim entitlement of one additional increment as per the Government Resolution dated 12.12.2000.

Heard the learned counsel for petitioners and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for the respondent No. 1. The respondent Nos. 2 and 3 though are served, none appears for them.

Issue involved in the present writ petition is no longer resintegra as held in Writ Petition No. 1954 of 2018 with other connected writ petitions under order dated 25.01.2019, it has been held that, if District Awardee Teacher certificate is issued prior to the Government Resolution dated 04.09.2018, then the said person shall be entitled for one additional increment as per G. R. dated 12.12.2000. The respondent/Zilla Parishad after confirming that the petitioners are District Awardee Teachers and are issued with certificates prior to 04.09.2018 shall consider the case of the petitioners for one additional increment as per G. R. dated 12.12.2000. Same shall be considered on its own merits, in accordance with law, expeditiously and preferably within a period of six (06) months from today. The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
