1. Respondent No. 3 though served, remained absent.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have filed an application on 07-09-2015 (Exhibit-B) for grant of rental compensation, however, the same has not been decided by the respondent - authority.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader states that if said application is pending, the authority concerned would take decision in accordance with law.

In the light of above, we pass following order:- In case, application dated 07-09-2015 (Exhibit-B) for grant of rental compensation, filed by the petitioners is

2 WP-541.16 pending with the respondent - authority, the authority concerned shall take decision on said application on its own merits and in accordance with law, after hearing all parties concerned, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of nine months from the date of receipt of writ of this order.
