This matter was heard for some time.

The learned Advocate for the petitioner submits on instructions that, the petitioner would be satisfed if this Court passes an order directing the respondent no.3 State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra State and respondent no.4 Admission Regulating Authority to take a call on the request put forth by the petitioner-Association vide representation dated 23.11.2022 keeping in view the communication dated 30.11.2022 addressed by the Joint Director of Technical

2 wp 12088.22.odt Education to the Director of Technical Education, State of Maharashtra, Mumbai. It is prayed that a decision be taken by respondent nos.3 and 4 by 05.00 pm on 3.12.2022 since the cut-off date for the institutional round for admitting the students to the B.E. Pharmacy Course is 4.12.2022. 3.

The learned Advocate representing respondent nos.3 and 4 submits that, the representation would be considered strictly in accordance with the Government of Maharashtra, State Common Entrance Test Cell information Brochure, Academic Year 2022-2023.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off. We expect that respondent nos.3 and 4, in coordination with each other, will decide the representation of the petitioner dated 23.11.2022 in the light of the communication referred to above dated 30.11.2022 and in the light of the Information Brochure for the Academic year 2022-2023 by 5.00 pm on 3.12.2022. 5.

In so far as the representations of the petitioner dated 17.3.2022, 4.11.2022 and 14.11.2022 with regard to the

3 wp 12088.22.odt Economically Weaker Section quota, the petitioner submits that respondent no.1 can decide the said representations as expeditiously as possible. In this context, we would expect that respondent no.1 would decide said representations in accordance with the policies, rules, Government Resolutions, if any, preferably by 28.2.2023.
