By this Application, the Applicant/Petitioner prays for a Writ of Mandamus to the Company, to comply with the oral promise given by the Company to the Applicant/Petitioner that an alternate premises for a Retail Petrol Pump Outlet in the Aurangabad City would be granted on lease basis.

A Writ of Mandamus cannot be issued on such promises which have no foundation.

3.

At this juncture, the learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits that his request for alternate premises to operate a Retail Petrol Pump Outlet has been rejected.

We do not wish to make any comment on this rejection since the same is not a subject matter of this Petition. The Petitioner is at liberty to avail of a remedy as is permissible in law. All contentions are kept open.

The Civil Application is disposed off.
