Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that if the lower appellate court is directed to dispose of the pending appeal expeditiously and the interim relief as it is granted by the lower appellate Court is continued till disposal of appeal, the petitioner may not press this writ petition. I have also heard the learned counsel for the respondent.

In view of above submission, writ petition is disposed of with the following directions:- I) The lower appellate court shall dispose of the pending appeal as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from today, in case private paper book is supplied by

wp13203.17 -2the petitioner within four weeks from today. In case the private paper book is not supplied, the lower appellate court shall dispose of the pending appeal within six months from the date of preparation of paper book.

II.

Till disposal of appeal, the interim relief as granted by the lower appellate court shall remain in force.

III.

Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
