Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioner has filed application to the Tahsildar seeking regularization of encroachment as per the policy of the government, the said application is not yet decided.

The learned AGP waives service for the respondents. 3.

The petitioners may file fresh application before the competent authority for taking decision for regularization of encroachment and upon receipt of such an application the competent authority shall take decision on the same, expeditiously preferably within a period of six months thereafter.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
