In this petition, the petitioner, inter alia, seeks a direction to respondent no. 1 - Special Land Acquisition Officer, to deposit the enhanced amount of compensation along with all the statutory benefits in terms of the award dated 23.04.2012. 3.

We have heard learned counsel for the parties. Learned counsel for the parties jointly submit that the issue involved in the instant petition is squarely covered by order dated 02.09.2020 passed by a Division Bench of this Court in writ petition no. 583 of 2020.

It is not in dispute that the award dated 23.04.2012 has been upheld by the District Judge. For the reasons assigned by Division Bench of this Court in writ petition no. 583 of 2020 vide order dated 02.09.2020.

The Petition is disposed of with the following directions :- a] The respondents to deposit the amount before the Competent Authority as per the award passed by the Arbitrator within a period of eight (8) weeks from today. 6.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. Rule is made absolute.
