DATE : OCTOBER 16, 2023 ORDER :- The petitioner had been granted four weeks' marriage parole. Today is his date to surrender. By this petition, the petitioner prays for extension of parole.

As per the rules, marriage parole can be granted for a maximum period of 8 days. Learned APP has strong reservations to grant extension.

Since this is a case of marriage of petitioner's brother and Walima (post-marriage ritual) is scheduled during next four days, the petition stands disposed of, granting the petitioner extension of parole for further four days.
