The petitioner prays that the representation dated 22.11.2021 addressed to the Commissioner (Sugar), should be decided. 02.

We have perused the representation. The contents of the representation pertain to some persons having purportedly put bogus signatures on certain bank documents. Documents have been created and the 15% interest on the FRP amount has been siphoned off. Allegations are also made against a bank contending that they misled the farmers and obtained signatures and created consent terms for waiver of the 15% interest amount. Further contention is that the sugar factory and the bank and some persons have misled the office of the Sugar Commissioner as well as the workers.

Considering the above, we have our own doubts, whether the Sugar Commissioner can deal with such allegations as if he is a criminal investigation agency.

Considering the above, this petition is disposed off with liberty, as may be permissible in law to the petitioner to raise a grievance as regards all the above allegations.
