Mr. Shinde, learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner is claiming his retiral benefits and the arrears of pension as per 6th pay Commission. The said benefit is not granted. The petitioner is retired on attaining the age of superannuation on 1.6.2012. The retiral benefits are paid in the year 2016. 2.

Mr. Barde, learned counsel for the respondents submits that the petitioner's pension was sanctioned on 1.6.2013 and the same is paid. However, retiral benefits could not be paid because of administrative and financial reasons.

We have considered the submissions. It is submitted that now

wp12167.15 -2the petitioner has been paid all his retiral benefits, including the pension as per the 6th Pay Commission. We accept the said statement made.

The respondents shall pay petitioner the interest @ 6% p.a. from January, 2013 till the date of payment being made within a period of six months from today.
