The learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that he has challenged the order passed by the Collector disqualifying the petitioner under Section 14 (1) (j-3) of the Maharashtra Village Panchayat Act before the Appellate Authority. However, the Appellate Authority till date has not decided the appeal along with the application for Stay, and the matter is now posted on 27/10/2023. 2.

The learned Advocate for the petitioner seeks interim Stay to the order of disqualification. However, it is more appropriate that the authority concerned to decide the Stay application of the petitioner on the date listed.
