Learned counsel submits that validation proceedings are pending since the year 2016. The same is not yet decided. The petitioner is prosecuting her studies in Computer Science and presently she is in 2nd year. Learned counsel further submits that the Respondents are demanding full fees.

Though Respondent No.4 is served, none appears for Respondent No.4.

The Respondent Committee shall decide the validation proceedings in respect of the caste claim of the petitioner expeditiously, preferably within eight (8) months.

The petitioner shall cooperate in expeditious disposal of the proceedings. The petitioner shall appear before the Committee on 5.2.2018. 5.

Till the validation proceedings are pending, the Respondent No.4 shall not coerce the petitioner to pay full fees and if the petitioner is otherwise eligible shall not refrain the petitioner from prosecuting studies only on the ground that validation proceedings are pending. 6.

The Respondent No.4 can take further course of action depending upon the judgment that would be delivered by the Committee in the validation proceedings.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
