None for the respondents when the matter was called out in the morning session. None appears for the respondents even in the afternoon session when the matter is called out for the second time. This application is filed seeking direction to the office to credit the amount of interest accrued on the amount deposited in the Court. By earlier order, this Court had directed to credit the interest on the said amount in the account of father of the present applicant as the applicant was minor at that time. After attaining majority, the applicant again filed an application for withdrawal of the amount by way of Civil Application No.14618 of 2023. This Court was pleased to allow the applicant to withdraw an amount of Rs.15,00,000/- alongwith accrued interest. The order passed in Civil Application No.329 of 2023 to credit interest was only till she attains the majority and thus, now the amount

925 ca.12176.24.odt of interest is not credited to the account of her father. Considering the above, now a prayer is made that the amount of interest be credited to her account.

Considering the argument and the reasons, the following order is passed:-

O R D E R

I.

The application is partly allowed.

II.

The office to credit the interest on the amount to the extent of present applicant which is deposited with the office of this Court, every quarter in the account of the applicant.

III.
