Heard Mr. Palodkar, learned Counsel for the petitioners at length. He submits that both the Courts below have committed error of law apparent on the face of record in not permitting the accused persons to place on record certain evidence and marked the same as Exhibit Numbers.

Having perused the order passed by the Courts below, it is noted that the Courts below have given cogent reasons for rejecting the prayer of the petitioners. Apart from above, it is always
1538.14crwp -2open for the petitioners to raise issue as regards admissibility of the evidence at the time of final hearing, in view of the judgment of the Apex Court in the matter of Bipin Shantilal Panchal vs. State of Gujarat and another reported in A.I.R. 2001 SC 1158. 3.
The criminal writ petition stands disposed of in above terms.
