PER COURT :- 1.

The Petitioner is in employment. His claim of belonging to Mannervarlu Scheduled Tribe category, is pending for validation before the competent committee since 04.04.2018. He prays for an early decision.

The learned AGP submits that the Vigilance Cell inquiry is yet to be completed and the committee would require 180 days for deciding the claim.

In view of the above, this Petition is disposed off expecting the Committee to decide the claim of the Petitioner within 180 days from today. The Petitioner would render wholehearted cooperation and refrain from seeking adjournments on unreasonable grounds, lest, the committee would progress to the next stage in the proceedings.

In view of the above, we direct that the service of the Petitioner would not be terminated until 31.05.2024 or till the date on which the committee decides his claim, whichever is earlier. So also, the Petitioner would not be entitled for any further service benefits on the basis of his pending social status claim, until the decision.
