1] Heard learned AGP for the applicants and the learned counsel for the respondent nos.1 to 5.

2] The learned counsel for the respondent nos.1 to 5 seeks time to file reply to oppose the application for condonation of delay.

3] The applicants have preferred the first appeal challenging the judgment and award dated 31.1.2017. The learned AGP for the applicants submits that the impugned

CAs 10895/17 & others in FA (St) 27692/17 - 2 - judgment and award may be stayed. It is further submitted that twelve weeks time may be granted to deposit the entire amount as stipulated in the impugned judgment and award. The learned counsel for the respondent nos.1 to 5 opposes the said prayer and it is submitted that at the most four weeks time may be granted.

4] However, taking into consideration the submissions advanced by the learned AGP that the entire amount would be deposited and the decision to deposit the amount is under process, twelve weeks time is required to be granted.

5] In view of above, the operation and implementation of the judgment and award dated 31.1.2017 is stayed till the next date of hearing. The time to deposit the amount stipulated in the award is further extended for a period of twelve weeks from today.
