Petitioner is raising challenge to the order passed by the State Election Authority prescribing delimitation of blocks. It is contended that Anandwadi and Ajnuj are the adjoining villages however, they are included in different electoral blocks. The position prevailing between 19972002 is pointed out. It is contended that during the relevant period both the villages were included in one electoral block i.e. Padegaon block. However, after 2002 onwards till the year 2016, both these villages are included in separate electoral blocks and were never included in one single electoral block.
In this view of the matter, the challenge raised in the instant petition in respect of inclusion of villages in separate electoral block does not deserve consideration. Petition is devoid of substance hence stands rejected.
