We have heard Mr. Barlinge, the learned advocate for the petitioner. Mr. Narwadkar, Advocate h/f. Mr. Nikam, the learned advocate for Respondent No. 2.

Upon hearing the learned counsel for respective parties, it transpires that the petitioner had applied from O.B.C. category. The petitioner had secured 124 marks. The cut-off marks for O.B.C. category candidate is 144.
