1] On 16.8.2016 when the matter was called out, learned counsel for the respondent no.1 made a statement that the order pursuant to which the present contempt is filed is stayed by the Court in Review Application No.78/2016. On the said date i.e. 16.8.2016, the Advocate for the petitioners was not present. As such, the matter was

CP 2/16 in WP 10212/15 - 2 - adjourned.

2] Today also, when the matter is called out, none appears for the petitioners.

3] Learned counsel for the respondent no.1 as also the learned AGP for the State are present.

4] AS the order of which contempt is alleged is itself stayed by the Court, no propriety could be served by keeping the contempt petition pending.

5] In the light of that, the contempt petition is disposed of. No costs. In case, some further orders are passed in the review petition, the parties are at liberty to take steps depending upon the the orders passed in the review petition.
