Present petition has been filed for directing respondent no.2 to decide the proposal for premature release of the petitioner. It is pending since 31.07.2024.

Learned APP waives notice for all the respondents and submits that he tried to contact respondent no.2 and get the instructions from him. He further submits that it would be possible for respondent no.2 to decide the proposal but the concerned Officer could not be contacted. 3.

Taking into consideration the limited prayer, we are not convinced with the reason that due to upcoming election, respondent no.2 was not available even for giving instructions as to when he would decide the premature release proposal of the petitioner. Taking into consideration the fact that it is pending since July, 2024 and stages

1884.2024WP.odt those are required to be followed, we dispose of the writ petition by directing respondent no.2 to decide the said proposal on or before 31/12/2024.
