Though the matter has been listed in "Order matters" category, considering the nature of prayers made in the Writ Petition, that too with regard to prayer clause (B), we are disposing of this Writ Petition as the presence of respondent No.3 is not required.

By filing this Writ Petition, the petitioner is seeking directions that the caste claim of the petitioner of belonging to

Writ Petition No.12999/25 :: 2 ::

"Koli Mahadev" Scheduled Tribe, which is pending before the respondent No.2 Caste Scrutiny Committee since 28/7/2025, be decided expeditiously.

Considering the fact that the petitioner is desirous of prosecuting his studies, we direct the respondent No.2 Caste Scrutiny Committee to decide the caste claim of the petitioner within a period of nine months from today.
