This petition is against the order passed by the Regional Joint Director and Joint Registrar Co- Operative Societies, (Sugar), Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, whereby an appointment of Respondent No.3 is made as Assignee. The petitioner has approached the Hon'ble Minister for Cooperation Mantralaya, Mumbai, in August 2024 against the said order. The petitioner also prayed for stay to the order dated 25th July 2024 challenging the order of appointment of Assignee. 2.

Considering the orders, it is found that since 1992 though the amount of share capital from the Government is taken, there is no utilization of the said amount and no karkhana has yet started since 1992 and it is for this reason, the action is taken. Against the proceedings before the learned Minister, stay is sought to this order and the same is

( 2 ) 38-WP-12736-2024 not favourably considered by the learned Minister. The learned Minister for Co-operation Mantralaya, Mumbai, is requested to dispose of the main proceedings within 30 days and in any case before 31st December 2024. With this, writ petition stands disposed off. 3.

Till then there shall be status quo.
